New edition of China Outbound Travel Handbook launched this month
The rapidly expanding Chinese inbound market is a lucrative opportunity for destinations worldwide and shows little sign of abating as the rise in the middle classes fuels an appetite for international travel.
It is also a highly complex market and the way destinations promote themselves to Chinese visitors continues to evolve.
This month sees the release of the expanded third edition of China Outbound Travel Handbook 2015 – China, the Future of Travel, a resource aimed at the tourism, hospitality and retail sectors.
It offers deep insights into the mindset and expectations of today’s Chinese traveller with interviews and case studies highlighting the opportunities and challenges for travel sellers.
Author Roy Graff published the first edition of the handbook in 2005 and has worked in business development in e-commerce, online travel and luxury hospitality in China and other emerging markets.
A familiar presence at major travel trade forums on Chinese tourism, Graff established ChinaContact as a market entry consultancy in 2005 and two years ago founded China Edge, which provides strategy, training and marketing in China for luxury retail and hospitality brands.
The 2015 edition of China Outbound Travel Handbook goes on general release on April 21, 2015.
