New England football manager Roy Hodgson revealed yesterday that it had once been his dream to become a travel agent.
In one of his first interviews since taking on the top job in football, 64-year-old Hodgson said it had always been his plan to quit the game before he was 40 and open a travel company.
He had even promised his best friend that they would go into business together selling holidays.
So the question is, which is tougher, managing the temperaments of England’s top, over-paid players and leading the team to victory while being battered by the national media, or selling holidays? Did Hodgson make the right choice? Tell us what you think by clicking on the Post Your Comment box below.
