New Horizon booking incentives
In addition to its regular 10-16% commission for agents, Horizon is offering a $100 Indigo gift certificate for bookings now through April 15 of this year. An existing program generating “fantastic response” is the April agency presentation strategy, said Markus Schale, president of the Canadian-based company that offers escorted tours. “We are planning an extensive presentation swing through Southern Ontario to see our own travelers and we have offered to provide similar presentations at agency-hosted client meetings,” he said. The concept is that Horizon supplies a slide show and snacks, while agents invite their best prospects for Horizon trips. In addition to running trips throughout Canada and the rest of the world, Horizon recently added a series of North American voyages aboard the Orion, a new 106-guest expedition guest ship.
