Wizz Air is launching winter-only budget flights to Norwegian Lapland from Luton in December.
The airline will operate direct flights to Tromso in the Arctic circle every Monday and Friday from December 14 to March 29, with fares starting at £22.99 one way.
Visit Lapland said the low-cost flights would open up the Arctic region for many more tourists this Christmas and beyond.
