Carnival Cruise Line has inked a multi-year agreement with NFL’s New Orleans Saints.

Carnival becomes the Official Cruise Line of the New Orleans Saints with an aim to ‘bring even more fun to the Big Easy.’

The agreement includes in-stadium promotions at Saints’ games  such as the ‘Helmet Shuffle’ competition which  offers one lucky fan a free cruise at each game.

Carnival will be promoted on the Saints’ website and will have promotional displays at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

"Carnival has been a part of the New Orleans community for more than 20 years and this partnership with the Saints offers fans a variety of opportunities to engage with the team and, just like on board our ships, provides an environment that creates a lifetime of wonderful memories," said Christine Duffy, Carnival’s president.

A new shipboard promotion ‘Saints Sailgate Sailaways’ is a football-themed event offering food and beverage specials, prizes and entertainment during sailings.

"We are thrilled to join with Carnival as they add another element of excitement to our game-day experience, while enhancing the appeal of the tourism industry for our region," said Saints owner Tom Benson.
