New ski add-ons website offers agents earnings potential

A new force in the ski market offers agents the chance to earn commission on pre-booked lift passes, ski schools, ski hire and transfers.

SkiHolidayExtras.com offers add-ons at discounted prices, ideal for agents looking to add value to clients’ ski holidays and earn commission on ski packs that are usually bought in resort.

Brand manager Callum Chiverton explains: “Many traditional ski operators don’t pay commission on extras like lift passes or ski schools – which is hardly an incentive for agents to sell them. Agents can now arrange the basic package with their favourite ski operators and partner with SkiHolidayExtras.com to book all the add-ons that the client really wants and earn commission from us at the same time.”

SkiHolidayExtras.com offers a full range of add-ons in over 140 ski resorts from airport transfers (scheduled and private) to lift passes, ski and board lessons, ski equipment hire and even catering options.

All can be booked by agents either via the operator’s SkiHolidayExtras.com site – after pre-registering and receiving an access code – or by signing up for a white-label option. “Agents can embed our booking engine into their own website and customize the extras they offer. Their client can book everything online – at prices up to 30% below in-resort costs – and the agent doesn’t need to do a thing except bank our commission payment at the end of each month.”

Chiverton points out that, while SkiHolidayExtras.com is a new service, it is backed by both UK and French-based teams. “We have over 100 staff in France which means that in some resorts we can even personally deliver lift passes to clients’ chalets before they arrive – a level of service that reflects very well on the agent.”

This service extends to offering pre-bookable catering options for people who choose a self-catering chalet or apartment but don’t want to eat out or cook every night. “We can arrange full breakfasts and three-course evening meals – complete with wine – to be delivered, prepared and served in the client’s chalet or apartment by our resort hosts” explains Chiverton.

SkiHolidayExtras.com has already signed up many agents as partners for the coming season, but Chiverton is keen to hear from others.

The operator – which is bonded with ABTA and the CAA – can also offer charter flights into Grenoble and Chambery.

Agents interested in finding out more can log on to http://www.skiholidayextras.com/ – or call the company on 0870 251 0009.
