New travel review website to work like Twitter

Wednesday, 05 Mar, 2013 0

A new website claiming to offer glossy and inspiring reviews has been launched by UK founder Charlie Osmond.

www.triptease.com has been built for iPads and claims it will produce inspiring image-led travel reviews using traveller’s photos and words.

Users can follow each other in a similar way to Twitter and share their holiday experiences.

A spokesman said: "Existing reviews are faceless and text driven, the product of a decade’s effort to increase the volume of user-generated content. We will increase the quality, relevance and fun of user-generated content in the world of travel.

"We believe in changing travel reviews from bland and boring to beautiful and inspiring through content that is designed and destined for sharing."
