New UK head for Beachcomber
Chris Gilbert has been named as UK and Ireland director for Beachcomber Hotels following the retirement of Lindsay Walker.
He joins from One & Only Resorts where he was executive director sales, UK & Ireland.
Gilbert was previously Air Mauritius UK and Ireland regional manager and has more than 30 years airline, hotel and business travel experience.
Beachcomber owns and operates eight luxury resorts and hotels, in addition to the private island resort of Sainte Anne in the Seychelles.
The group is expanding with a second hotel in the Seychelles on the island of Praslin and its first development outside the Indian Ocean, Royal Palm Hotel Golf & Spa in Marrakech.
