New web site helps find best agents
A new, New York-based company offering to help consumers find the best travel agents is finding one of its most popular niches is hard-to-book locations around the globe.
“While the majority of the world’s leisure and unmanaged business travel is booked through travel professionals, travelers have no effective way of finding a qualified agent,” said 1Trip3.com co-founder Chinedu Echeuro.
Most people rely on recommendations from friends or family, but 1trip3.com founders that also include Jason Griffith spent months analyzing shopping and buying habits before starting the company.
“With 1Trip3.com, travelers are put in touch with agents all over the globe, and at the same time agents get low-cost, highly qualified leads on travel, tours and cruise vacation customers,” said Echeuro.
Consumers visit the Web site to enter their desired destinations and additional travel requirements. The site then sends the request vie e-mail to travel professionals who have registered and specialize in the desired trip.
Agents pay 1Trip3.com only for leads they wish to pursue. The site is free to consumers.
