Newmans Holidays has formally launched its first programme to the US mainland, offering hundreds of destinations, more than 4,000 hotels and a choice of six airlines, enabling travellers to fly non-stop to America or take stopover breaks in a wide range of Pacific destinations.

To mark the launch of its US programme, Newmans has announced a major incentive programme for Australia’s travel agents, offering $60,000 worth of prize flights with Air New Zealand and Qantas, $5000 worth of Harvey Norman vouchers, double Club Boomerang loyalty points and a place on the upcoming Newmans educational trip to Las Vegas, for bookings finalised by 13 May.

The entry into mainland America completes Newmans successful expansion through the Pacific, now offering the choice of non-stop travel to the US or combination holidays which include New Zealand, Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga, Niue and the US island state of Hawaii.

The new 58-page Newmans Holidays brochure is a snapshot of the company’s extensive USA program, highlighting the key destinations with the most popular hotels, theme parks and sightseeing tours, including 35 escorted coach tours.

Among its features is a handy special four-page zip out guide to shopping and dining in Anaheim, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas and New York – the most popular mainland destinations for Australian travellers.

There is also a wide selection of stopover holiday suggestions throughout he Pacific.

Travellers visiting only the US mainland will be offered a choice of Air New Zealand, Qantas and United Airlines, while those wanting to include a Pacific stopover will be able to choose from Fiji-based Air Pacific, Air Tahiti Nui or Hawaiian Airlines. US domestic carriers are also participating in the Newmans programme.

The new programme will be valid for travel from now until 31 March 2007. For more information, or to make a booking, contact Newmans Holidays on the toll-free trade hotline 1300 130 525.
