Newmarket adds Royal Scotland tour
Newmarket Holidays has launched a new Scotland tour focused on the Scottish Highlands.
It takes in Royal favourites, the cultural capital, historic towns and scenery.
‘Royal Caledonian’ is a seven-night itinerary that starts with an overnight journey from London on the Caledonian Sleeper.
The escorted tour offers guided visits to Nairn, Ballater and Inverness.
Guests explore an array of attractions that include Balmoral, which has been the Scottish royal holiday home since 1852, and Crathie Kirk Church.
The Scotland tour explores the Highlands’ stunning scenery with excursions to the Cairngorms Mountain Visitor Centre, Loch Ness, and on the Strathspey Railway.
There are also visits to attractions such as a whisky distillery and the UK’s only working cooperage.
The trip ends in Edinburgh, with a guided tour of the capital.
Richard Forde, Head of Trade Sales said: “With the King’s coronation approaching, we are seeing lots of interest in tours with Royal links.”
“Royal Caledonian is a fantastic addition to our UK range, and a tour that we know is going to be hugely popular.”
Royal Caledonian is available for departures through September and October 2023.
