Children will travel on the Stansted Express for free this summer. The operator is offering travel for a family of four on the train from London Liverpool Street to Stansted airport for £48 from now until September 30.
Japan Airlines has entered into a code share agreement with British Airways so that it can offer flights from Manchester to London. The twice-daily codeshare flights will smooth the journey for passengers travelling from the north of England to Tokyo and Osaka. JAL now offers services to 26 cities in Europe on 38 routes.
Hollywood actor Brad Pitt is to play a part in the creation of a new hotel and leisure resort in Dubai. LA-based architecture firm GRAFT, for whom the actor is a design consultant, will be behind the America-themed resort in the Middle East hub to be built by Zabeel Properties. The resort, which will have an 800-room hotel at its centre, is earmarked to be super environmentally-friendly.
Cartrawler has inked a deal with Spanish low-cost operator clickair. The car rental provider has signed a multi-year deal with the operator which saw car rental offers from all the big players displayed on clickair’s site from yesterday. VP Marketing of clickair Jaime Lloret said “Ancillary revenue is a core part of our growth strategy, and car rental forms a significant portion of that. Offering our passengers the best possible instrument to facilitate choice was our central goal in selecting CarTrawler as our partnerâ€.
