Norse Atlantic launching first ever Manchester-Bangkok flights
Norse Atlantic Airways is launching a new landmark long haul route connecting Bangkok with the northwest of England.
The new route between Manchester and Bangkok commences on November 26, 2025.
The weekly service will be Manchester’s first direct connection to the Thai capital.
The airline says more than 100,000 passengers travel annually from Manchester to Bangkok via connecting flights making it one of Manchester’s largest underserved long-haul routes.
Bjørn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways, said: “This route has been waiting to happen, and we’re proud to be the ones making it a reality. Manchester is a key gateway to the North of England, and Bangkok is a magnet for adventure, business, and culture.”
Norse’s entrance into the Manchester-Bangkok market will support both inbound tourism to the UK and business and leisure travel to Thailand.
Flights are now available for booking on www.flynorse.com, with one weekly rotation during the winter season and potential for expansion based on demand.
“Bangkok is one of the most exciting destinations on the planet – and is rightly one of the most popular. Many people from the region travel there every year but until now they have had to book connecting flights,” said Manchester Airport Managing Director Chris Woodroofe.
Return fares starting from £259, including taxes.
