Norwegian cruise line adds pristine fjord to itinerary
Norwegian cruise line Hurtigruten has announced an expansion of its cruising waters.
Ships traveling the Norwegian west coast from September 1-October 31, 2013 will cruise through the Hjorfund fiord for the first time in 20 years. The 22-mile long fjord is fringed with heavily forested mountain landscapes punctuated with picturesque villages.
Hurtigruten is a 120-year-old Norwegian freight and passenger line with 11 ships in its fleet.
