Norwegian Cruise Line beefing up national sales teams
Norwegian Cruise Line said it will significantly beef up its sales team, with an almost doubling of business development managers.
Norwegian field sales reps will be added across the US with extra positions in California, New York, Texas, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions.
A director of sales position will also be created in Canada.
"One of the main things we hear from travel partners is that they don’t see us often enough, and if we were a bigger presence locally, in their office, sitting across the desk, it would make a huge difference," said Andy Stuart, executive vice president of sales.
"It is a significant investment, but one we know will pay back in a very positive way."
More support staff are being added for Miami based sales functions, Stuart said.
"We’re basically adding to every area of the sales team."
