Oahu imposes proof of vaccination, Covid test for entry to bars, restaurants
Entry to Oahu restaurants and other businesses will require proof of vaccination or a negative Covid test from 13 September. It is part of Oahu’s Safe Access Oahu program which will run for 60 days.
It was unveiled by Honolulu Mayor Rick Blangiardi and includes all bars and restaurants, movie theaters and museums, gyms, and indoor sections of other tourist attractions.
Blangiard said the vaccine pass scheme is preferable to a lockdown amid surging Covid cases.
