October’s technology headlines have been about dynamic packaging and Advantage business travel director Norman Gage sums things up in his call for a campaign against commodotisation.

Consumers may not know what dynamic packaging is but the industry seems convinced it’s the way forward. This month has seen Thomson confirm it will make more product available to be dynamically packaged and Sabre is making the holidayandmore.com agents’ dynamic packaging system available through the GDS. Does no one want a simple package holiday anymore?
