Whether clients are travelling to New York, Hong Kong or the Gold Coast, they can now be transferred directly to their hotel within moments of arrival with a new shuttle bus booking service launched by leading online travel company OctopusTravel.com.
Agents are now able to books clients on airport to hotel return shuttle bus services in the United States, Australia, Bulgaria, Hong Kong and South Korea, with OctopusTravel.com planning to add new cities and countries on an ongoing basis.
The transfers can be booked via the scheduled sightseeing module on the agents’ website, with immediate confirmation to the client.
OctopusTravel.com general manager Peter Smith says the service has been launched in response to strong demand from agents.
“We deal with agents on a daily basis and the feedback was that the ability to book shuttle bus transfers for clients in key destinations globally would be a highly sought-after service,” Mr Smith said.
“From a client perspective, the fact it can be pre-booked takes the hassle out of arrival, particularly after a long flight, and is an affordable and easy option.
“Agents can also claim a 10 per cent commission on all bookings and offer a more complete service to their clients,” he added.
Typical prices for airport to hotel one-way shuttle transfers range from AU$14.50 in the United States to AU$23 in Australia and AU$26.50 in Hong Kong.
OctopusTravel.com also offers private car transfers in 650 countries worldwide, as well as a range of scheduled and tailor-made sightseeing options and the largest inventory of hotels on the web.
