Online Baltic cruise agent training launched
An interactive online agent training programme is being introduced by Cruise Baltic, a partnership of 26 destinations in the region.
The Cruise Baltic online training programme is to start on June 2, developed for the 10-country consortium by the Association of Cruise Experts.
The tool, unveiled at the UK Cruise Convention in Southampton, is designed to give agents an in-depth knowledge of the diverse countries that make up the area.
Cruise Baltic director Bo Larsen said the training was being introduced “in response to many UK agents who have expressed interest in a toolbox to assist them in getting to know more about the region and the opportunities which exist for cruising in the Baltic Seaâ€.
ACE business development director Andy Harmer said: “Cruise Baltic has taken an innovative step in providing education for the professional travel agent who wants to increase sales and enhance their customers’ experience.â€
Agents will receive formal accreditation on completing the training modules.
