OTT ceases trading
Online Travel Training has ceased trading.
The specialist training company will be wound up, with McTear Williams and Wood appointed to handle insolvency proceedings.
OTT provided specialist training for airlines, DMOs, tour operators and hotels.
Its training resources included webinars, eLearning and marketing packages, and incentives for travel industry staff.
OTT tailored courses for brands such as United Airlines, Emirates, Riviera Travel and Melia Hotels.
Travel industry leaders have reacted with surprise and sadness at the news.
ABTA LifeLine Director Trudie Clements announced at the ABTA Convention that the company had ceased trading.
“My initial reaction was surprise, which quickly turned into sadness. Our agents will be really sad as well, as they worked closely with OTT,” said Tricia Handley-Hughes, MD of InteleTravel.
