PAL heading back to London
Philippine Airlines will fly to London Heathrow from November, two months after getting the green light to return to European skies.
After a 15-year break, the Philippine national carrier has secured slots at Heathrow and plans to operate five times a week from Manila with B777-300ERs from November 4.
Philippine Airlines was removed from the European Union’s controversial airline blacklist in July this year.
It now plans to launch routes to Paris, Rome and Amsterdam.
PAL dumped its four-times-weekly service to Perth earlier this month, just three months into its launch, and has also reduced planned services to the Middle East.
