Paradise Beach finding happy business
The Naples, Marco Island, Everglades area of South Florida’s new tourism marketing campaign of pushing the “Paradise Coast” is obviously a match made in Heaven.
Recent developments in the area include:
—Non-stop air service between Naples Municipal Airport and Atlanta, with three Delta flights daily.
—Southwest Florida International Airport’s new terminal in Fort Myers on schedule is on schedule for a summer opening.
—The Travel Channel named Naples as “America’s Best All-Around Beach for 2005.”
Why the “Paradise Coast?”
Research found the target leisure market in the area saw the area as “paradise,” and that more emphasis should be given to the attractive beaches there, said Jack Wert, executive director of the CVB.
