Parr resigns from Holiday Taxis
Holiday Taxis sales and marketing director Russell Parr has resigned because he wants to be based closer to his family home in the Midlands.
Parr will remain with the business for at least the next six months to concentrate on strategy and special projects as the group expands into other markets.
“It was always our family intention to move to the South East but as the bottom dropped out of the property market last year it became less and less of a viable option for us,†said Parr.
“I will be extremely sad to leave Holiday Taxis as it’s a great business with a fantastic future. However, family must come firstâ€.
CEO Paul Stanyer added: “Russell has made a huge contribution to the growth of our business over the past 18 months, and the search is now on to find a successor who can carry on the role with the same commitment and energy Russell brought.
“Having two young children myself I fully understand and support his decision.â€
Parr is now looking into a number of options and projects including his own venture.
