Philippa Harris takes top role at Take One Media

Friday, 30 Jan, 2007 0

Former Harlequin Worldwide Travel boss Philippa Harris has been named managing director of tourism promotional media firm Take One Media.

Harris, a board member of the Institute of Travel & Tourism, has held a range of high profile travel industry jobs over 20 years, including Thomson, Eurotunnel and First Choice.

She will focus on expanding Take One Media’s client base for its nationwide network of over 20,000 literature display sites. She will also be responsible for all sales and marketing functions.

Harris said: “Take One’s products are clearly an important part of the media mix for anyone in the UK leisure and tourism market, with inbuilt flexibility that allows all customers to find a cost-efficient solution for them, whatever their size.

“This is a superb opportunity for me to apply my leisure marketing skills in a different environment and one which I grabbed with both hands. Take One is poised for the next stage in its growth as we also look at other market sectors which could benefit from using our ‘media network’ of display stands.”
