Philippine Airlines to offer 777 flights from London three months early

Philippine Airlines has brought forward the launch of Boeing 777 flights on the London to Manila route, which start on September 17.

It will offer 328 seats in economy and 42 in business class. At the moment, it offers 254 seats on an Airbus 340.

David Cochrane, country manager for PAL UK & Ireland, said: "Philippine Airlines has just been ranked sixth amongst the world’s 10 Most Improved Airlines by Skytrax and fourth Best Airline Worldwide for cabin service.

"On the back of these accolades, we are thrilled to deliver a truly premium experience onboard a brand new aircraft to our guests visiting The Philippines and beyond."

The new 777 Business Class seats offers a 78-inch pitch and adjust into full-flat beds. All seats feature an 18.4 inch personal TV screen, a retractable privacy divider, in-seat power supply to charge via mains or USB and an ottoman that opens to reveal a personal storage area.

Economy Class seat offers a pitch of up to 34 inches and fully adjustable leather headrests, 11 inch touch-screen personal TVs and built-in USB ports.
