Philadelphia has been named as the priciest city for car rental this summer according to a survey by CheapCarRental.net.
Philly came out the most expensive in a survey of the 50 most popular destinations in the US.
Rates in Philly came to an average $83 per day for the cheapest car available during August 2016.
Not far behind were Seattle and Boston at $81 and $80 respectively, followed by Chicago and Detroit.
By contrast, Orlando rental firms charged an average rate of just $26 per day.
In fact bargain rental prices were found throughout the Sunshine State with Miami, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale all averaging about $30 a day.
CheapCarRental.net based its findings on average rates at airport locations for the cheapest available vehicle during the month of August 2016.
