PIA restarting Lahore flights to London

Pakistan International Airlines will resume nonstop flights from Lahore and London this spring.

The Lahore-London Heathrow service kicks off on 30 March 2026, joining the previously announced restart for Islamabad flights to Heathrow which are scheduled to start just a day earlier.

The Lahore service will initially be once a week on Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.

The Islamabad will operate three times weekly.

PIA also currently operates three times a week to Manchester which resumed in late 2025.

This was the first service since the UK lifted its years-long ban of Pakistan carriers over safety concerns and the pilot licensing scandal.

The UK’s Air Safety Committee cited ‘significant improvements’ in Pakistan aviation oversight.

“The relaunch of London services from both Islamabad and Lahore is a proud moment for the national flag carrier. We are responding to the high demand from the diaspora,” the airline said.
