Plane crash lands in Nepal

All 238 passengers and crew on a Turkish Airlines plane escaped without serious injury after it crashed landed in heavy fog at an airport in Nepal.

The A330 nose-dived on the runway at Kathmandu’s international airport, coming to rest on a grass verge.

Some of the passengers were given medical treatment after the plane’s evacuation, but none was seriously hurt.

Flight THY726 had arrived after a seven-hour flight from Istanbul, said the Telegraph. It had circuled for 30 minutes before it made a second attempt to land, but the runway was reportedly
