Ponant ship Le Jacques-Cartier has arrived in Darwin, Australia for the first time ahead of her first Kimberley cruise season.

Le Jacques-Cartier just completed an inaugural Japan season.

During the first 2024 Kimberley cruise season the ship will embark on 13 departures from May to September 2024.

“Le Jacques-Cartier’s arrival in Darwin marks the beginning of an exciting Kimberley season, having a new ship in the region,” said Deb Corbett, Ponant General Manager Sales & Marketing Asia Pacific.

“We are thrilled to bring our guests closer to the natural wonders of Australia’s Kimberley.”

Le Jacques-Cartier is one of six Ponant Explorer ships that are purpose built for expeditions.

The ship has a capacity for 184 guests in 92 staterooms and suites, all with balconies.

Guests can enjoy onboard spa treatments and dining in two restaurants.

There is a 25% Ponant Bonus still available on some Kimberley 2024 itineraries.

On completion of the 2024 Kimberley season, the ship will set sail for Indonesia and East Timor before ending the year exploring Tasmania and Australia’s southern coast.
