Princess Cruises announces Med debut for newest ship
Princess Cruises has announced its newest ship Majestic Princess will debut in the Mediterranean from Spring 2017 before sailing to her base in China.
The cruise ship will offer five to 28-day Med cruises from Barcelona, Athens and Rome from April 2017, joining five other Princess Cruises ships in Europe.
As of July 2017, Majestic Princess will be based in China year-round.
2017 will also see Princess Cruises’ largest British Isles season ever with 12 departures on the 3,140-guest Caribbean Princess.
Pacific Princess will sail on round trips out of Dover from June to September on northern Europe itineraries including ports in Iceland and the Shetland Islands.
Princess now offers the ‘More Ashore’ programme, which gives guests more time at select destinations with either late night departures (9pm or later), an overnight, or a two-day experience.
