Princess Cruises’ MedallionClass coming to Australia
Princess Cruises is continuing the gradual rollout of its MedallionClass wearable tech across its fleet, bring the service Down Under for the first time.
MedallionClass is coming to six additional ships during 2020 starting with Ruby Princess in January 2020.
Ruby Princess will become the first homeported ship in Australia to offer the MedallionClass experience.
The ship will sail a number of itineraries to New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
We can’t wait to introduce a holiday set to revolutionise the travel experience direct from our door step," said Princess Cruises Senior Vice President Asia Pacific, Stuart Allison.
The OceanMedallion is a complimentary wearable device which offers food and beverage orders and on-demand services anywhere aboard the ship, keyless stateroom entry, interactive games and the ability to locate friends and family.
