Princess Cruises names sixth Royal-class cruise ship
Princess Cruises’ sixth Royal-Class cruise ship will be named Discovery Princess.
The 3,660-passenger ship is currently under construction at the Fincantieri Shipyard and is scheduled to debut in November 2021.
It will be Princess Cruises’ first new ship to be based on the West Coast at Los Angeles
The ship will feature the MedallionClass wearable device program.
The next Riyal-class ship, Sky Princess is scheduled for delivery this month followed by Enchanted Princess in June 2020.
The line now has five ships launching over the next six years including two new 4,300-passenger LNG ships which will become the largest in its fleet.
