Qantas makes announcement
As reported by TravelMole some months ago, Qantas has today confirmed today that it was looking at what it describes as restructuring opportunities for its wholesale holidays business, Qantas Holidays.
The Chief Financial Officer of Qantas, Mr Peter Gregg, said the review was at an early stage, adding, “Qantas has looked at many alternatives over an extended period, including preliminary discussions with a number of parties, including Jetset Travelworld.”
“These discussions are not at a stage where any deal could be concluded,” Mr Gregg said.
He said Qantas was fully aware of its disclosure obligations.
