Qantas’ tip top crew
We all moan about Qantas and in particular cabin crew and without doubt the flying kanagaroo’s service standards are inconsistent.
It was an absolute delight last week to meet what is without doubt Qantas’ top cabin crew, led by Mark Hyland, pictured right.
Mark and the crew are Cairns based and were formerly Australian Airlines crew, now having been brought into Qantas – perhaps that is why they are so good, not having that Qantas heritage?
They were highly professional, extremely efficient, but above all really passionate about their jobs and satisifying their passengers, with that coming across in superb service with a real smile – the perfect example as pictured below with Bianca.

On second thoughts though…..no, because that would mean they would not be on the aircraft and that is where they are also needed!
The Mole apologises for not recalling all the crew member’s names but well done to all of you and in particular Mark – very impressive.
In the meantime can anyone tell us why Qantas cabin crews standards are so inconsistent?
It may be the weather or are they just disilusioned?
These guys had none of that – well done indeed!.
