Qatar Airways launches week-long premium fare offer
Qatar Airways has launched a week-long promotion offering up to 25% off premium fares on all bookings up to Monday May 6.
The promotion is valid on all of Qatar’s 160 global gateways.
First and business class travellers can save up to 20% on premium fares and 25% on companion premium fares.
Privilege Club members can also earn double Qpoints on all Premium bookings.
Meanwhile, Qatar has launched its new dining experience for economy, called Quisine.
Passengers will now be presented with redesigned menu cards which will include a service timeline on all long-haul and ultra-long-haul flights, ensuring they can plan their journey without missing anything on offer.
A pre-dinner drinks option will also now be available on flights of more than five hours, with sparkling wine and cocktail snacks available prior to the main meal being served.
Food portions have increased by between 25 and 50%, with a greater focus on the use of local, fresh and healthy ingredients that are in season.
Meals will also feature individually wrapped artisanal warm infused bread and an individual bottle of water and there will be a wider selection of mid-flight movie snacks.
The airline will add a number of new destinations to its extensive route network in 2019, including Lisbon, Portugal; Malta; Rabat, Morocco; Izmir, Turkey; Langkawi, Malaysia; Davao, Philippines; and Mogadishu, Somalia.
