Queensland shines with new branding
The launch of a new brand – Queensland: Where Australia Shines – marks the beginning of a renewed focus on tourism in Queensland, according to peak national body, Tourism & Transport Forum (TTF).
TTF managing director Chris Brown said the brand would help to reinvigorate Queensland as a prime tourism destination.
“Today marks the start of the Queensland tourism fight back – after two years of job losses and business failures,†he said.
“The new campaign is a bright, dynamic vision of Queensland, designed to showcase Queensland as Australia’s holiday home.â€
Brown said the fresh approach would help to re-position Queensland.
“While Queensland needs to put more political support and dollars behind its product, access and infrastructure, no one can fault its unstinting commitment to brand marketing,†he said.
