Rail Plus extends the tracks in new brochure
Baltics and Russia rail and accommodation packages head the additions to Rail Plus product in its 2007 brochure released this week.
New passes for country pairs Italy-Spain and Austria-Hungary, country passes for Croatia and Portugal, a 3 days Wilhelm Tell Rail Tour package from Lucerne to Lugano, an Explore Hardanerfjord cruise from Oslo or Bergen and return, and Paris sightseeing tours are also new for Europe.
The 5 days within one month Ireland Rail Pass is new for UK/Ireland. There are now four Japan Rail Passes (East Rail, Kansai, Sanyo and Kyushu passes) while new itineraries in Canada include Skeena Discovery (Vancouver-Calgary via Prince Rupert) and Continental Delights (Vancouver-Toronto).
Rail Plus’ “Your World on Track 2007” brochure features an extensive range of country and country-linking passes, packages, point-to-point, very fast trains and luxury rail services for Europe, Japan, United States and Canada.
National Sales and Marketing Manager, Greg McCallum said the new Baltic-Russia product was in response to increasing demand from the FIT market.
The Baltics packages are 3 days Warsaw-Vilnius (from $190 per person twin share), 4 days Warsaw-Vilnius-St Petersburg (from $330), 5 days Helsinki-Tallin-Moscow (from $280) and Warsaw-Vilnius-Riga-St Petersburg (from $435).
Packages include rail (accommodation in 4 berth sleepers) and hotels. Budget and Tourist classes are offered and departures are daily.
Extension products are Moscow-Helsinki (from $365) and St Petersburg-Moscow (from $525).
