Rate Tiger introduces system for hotels to update online partners
Rate Tiger is developing a system to enable hoteliers to manage its online distribution through third parties.
The company, which specialises in online allocation management technology, is combining its existing RT Shopper and RT Allocator systems to provide an integrated system for customers.
The RT Channel Manager Plus technology, which will be available early in 2008, will allow hoteliers to manage room allocation and rates across online third party channels from a single screen.
Using the technology hoteliers can see at a glance what rates and availability they, as well as competitors, are offering and change them according to what’s happening in the market.
RT Channel Manager Plus then automatically updates the third party partners with the information.
According to Rate Tiger co-founder Reuel Ghosh hotels distribute through an average of 10 websites. He added that the system eliminates manual processes for the hotels and saves them money by enabling them to see how competitors are positioning themselves.
