Register for the 2023 British Travel Awards
Registrations are coming in fast for the 2023 British Travel Awards (BTA).
Travel companies that still want to be listed are urged to hurry.
This year there are 77 award categories, across leisure travel, including reinstated airline and airport awards.
New for 2023 is the Best Airport Retailer.
Thirty-nine of the “Best Travel Company” BTAs are graded by size, based upon the annual number of passengers carried.
Smaller, specialist operators compete fairly against each other.
Once a company’s registration has been approved, they will receive the licence to use the official “Nominee BTA 2023” logo across all their communication channels.
When voting opens on 19 June they will be listed on the consumer voting form.
This year the voting period has been extended and will last for 15 weeks.
To help with vote lobbying campaigns nominees will also be sent a selection of “Vote for Us” buttons, which can be linked to a direct voting app .
BTA director of events and partnerships, Lorraine Barnes Burton, said: “There is long list of benefits that British Travel Awards’ nominees receive, even before the winners are announced.”
“Our consumer media partner is again Reach Solutions, publishers of national and regional newspapers, including the Mirror and Express titles.”
“In addition, we will be lobbying our 450,000 subscribed past voters to participate in this year’s awards.”
British Travel Awards winners are determined solely on the number of verified consumer votes cast.
This year winners will be announced at the British Travel Awards Gala evening, in London on 28 November.
