Relatives of MH17 victims meet Lockerbie families
Relatives of passengers shot down on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 have met with families of those who were killed in the Lockerbie bombing 26 years ago.
The meeting, which was arranged by the BBC for the Lockerbie relatives to explain to those who lost loved ones on MH17 how they coped with their loss, will be broadcast this evening.
A total of 270 people died with Pan Am flight 103 was blown up over Lockerbie on December 21, 1988 as it travelled from London to New York.
All 298 passengers on MH17 died after it was shot down in eastern Ukraine on July 17 last year.
The special 30-minute Eòrpa programme will be broadcast at 20:30 today on BBC ALBA .
It will be repeated at 18:00 on January 24 on BBC 2 Scotland and at 20:00 on January 25.
