Rhodes quits Stella Travel Services
Stella Travel Services commercial and product director Stephen Rhodes is to leave the company.
His departure next month follows changes within the organisation in the UK.
Rhodes is due to leave on September 19.
His decision follows the return of Travel 2 managing director Maria Whiteman’s return from maternity leave.
In a letter to industry partners, he said his previous role which covered air product, ground product, commercial and trading has changed with the setting up of a dedicated air department for Stella Travel Services UK and global ground buying for all worldwide Stella Travel Group companies.
“These changes in role and responsibilities have, after a great deal of thought, led me to the decision to move on and look for a broader position outside the organisation,†he said.
A replacement has yet to be announced.
Rhodes said he intended to remain within the travel industry.
