Robust growth at Country Hearth Inns

Tuesday, 26 May, 2005 0

Country Hearth Inns, a mid-scale hotel chain, is reporting record growth this year.

The Atlanta-based company has opened 15 new locations since January. Another 16 properties are due by the end of the year.

There are currently 78 Country Hearth Inns open or under development in the US and Canada.

Most of the hotels average 110 rooms.

Doug Collins, chairman and CEO of Country Hearth, attributes the growth to the success of its business model, ”and to satisfied franchises who are spreading the word about our user-friendly franchise system.”

He said Country Hearth Inns are operated like a family with innovative brand-building initiatives and regional marketing strategies.

The company took a major step earlier this year to bolster local marketing efforts by deploying customized Web sites, complete with integrated booking engines and marketing tools for each property.

Some of the Country Hearth Inns report occupancies in the 90s.
