Rock Insurance has appointed consultant Ian Scott of The Scott Partnership as director of business development Scotland and Ireland.
The company hopes the move will help it strengthen its relationship with operators and agents in this part of the UK.
Managing director Antony Martin said: “We have already established a solid foundation in these regions and will now, with Ian’s help, concentrate our efforts to provide localised account management and step up new business activity.â€
Scott previously worked as sales and marketing director at Club Travel 2000, head of sales and operations at Direct Holidays and, most recently as founder/senior partner of The Scott Partnership.
