Routehappy adds new beverages category to airline amenity content
Routehappy by ATPCO is adding a brand new category to its airline amenity content – beverages.
It is the first new category added to Routehappy for three years and joins its seven existing flight amenities – Seat, Aircraft, Layout, Wi-Fi, Entertainment, Power, and Food/Enhanced Food.
At the same time it has updated the food category to offer all food types, including light meals and snacks.
The Enhanced Food and Beverages are premium categories which are available only to airlines and customers with higher subscription tiers.
Data supplied includes whether a food or drink item is free or paid.
"Enhancing food and adding beverages, including whether or not a passenger gets alcoholic drinks included with their ticket, is a big step forward in helping airlines modernize and improve the flight shopping experience. We look forward to working with more airline partners so their customers have an easy to understand data," said Robert Albert, CEO of Routehappy by ATPCO.
Australian carrier Qantas is the first airline to integrate the new Beverages and Enhanced Food categories on its own website, which is now live on Qantas.com.
