Royal Caribbean orders sixth Oasis-class ship
Royal Caribbean Cruises has ordered a sixth Oasis-class
ship for delivery in the autumn of 2023.
It will be built by French company Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
“This is the twenty-third cruise ship that RCL will be building at our shipyard, and we are especially proud of it,” said Laurent Castaing, general manager Chantiers de l’Atlantique.
The order is contingent upon financing, which is expected to be completed in the second or third quarter of this year.
The ship will join Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Harmony of the Seas, Symphony of the Seas and a fifth Oasis-class ship, as yet unnamed, due in 2021.
