Ryanair names Tim Jeans replacement
Ryanair has promoted Sinead Finn to the post of sales and marketing manager, replacing Tim Jeans who is leaving the no-frills carrier to join MyTravel.
Ms Finn, who was previously the airline’s sales manager for Italy, will now assume overall responsibility for Ryanair’s sales and marketing activities in the UK and Continental Europe.
Announcing the appointment Ryanair’s commercial director Michael Cawley said: “I am delighted to have someone of Sinead’s calibre and experience to take over the mantle from Tim Jeans.
“During her tenure in Italy that market has grown to be Ryanair’s third largest with over four million passengers travelling on our routes this year. We are clearly the leading airline from the UK to Italy and I look forward to working with Sinead and our superb team of national sales managers to replicate this level of growth for the airline in every market we fly”.
Mr Jeans is joining MyTravel as managing director of its new no-frills airline.
Meanwhile MyTravel has announced that Karen Kidd has been appointed as commercial director for MyTravel TV – its digital television channel which is due to launch later this year. Ms Kidd previously worked for Littlewoods. See full story.
