Sabre director joins Galileo
Sabre Travel Network business development director Patrick Lukan has joined rival GDS Galileo in the UK.
He becomes country manager for Galileo UK as part of Cendant TDS, reporting to Jason Clarke, regional managing director UK and Ireland.
Lukan’s career spans more than 20 years in the airline and GDS businesses in the US, Asia, Europe and the UK.
His other roles have seen him managing hardware and software helpdesk teams, regional manager for Sabre in Hong Kong and director of technology for EMEA and subsequently a similar role in North America and manager of sales and service.
Clarke said: “Patrick’s skills and experience will be pivotal in developing our sales and in leading our service teams. He joins Cendant at an exciting time in the company’s evolution and he will play a vital role in taking the company to even greater success.”
