Sabre launches traveller tracker technology
Sabre Travel Network has launched technology to help travel management companies and corporate travel managers keep tabs on travellers.
The ‘Traveller Security and Data Suite’ locates travellers worldwide and also provides historical and advanced-booking reports.
The interactive, web-based application provides secure access to travel data and delivers detailed reports to help agents and travel managers take action in an emergency.
Users can drill down from a world map to a list of travellers with detail, or use specific criteria to target the search.
It also features scheduled and ad-hoc reporting capabilities to assist with operational and business needs.
Louis Rodriguez, director of IT & Training at Valerie Wilson Travel, a beta user of the new product, said: “When we heard of a situation in the UK, we immediately accessed the suite and requested a report of all travellers in the UK from 30 June through to 9 July.
“The response time was very quick and we were able to forward these reports via email to key people within Valerie Wilson Travel and to our clients.”
