Sabre: offering more protection, higher commissions
Sabre Travel Network announced new enhancements to its Sabre Travel Protection product for US agencies.
The product now offers an enhanced graphical booking tool, and features a preferred supplier who offers expanded insurance coverage for travelers.
The new product is also offering higher commissions, ranging from 20 to 35%, according to Sabre.
CSA Travel Protection, the preferred vendor for the Sabre Travel Protection product, is said to offer agents and customers one of the most comprehensive and flexible travel protection packages in the market.
CSA enables Sabre connected agents to offer every type of coverage needed by travelers, including trip cancellation, rental car damage, emergency medical transportation and more.
Sabre says travel protection is also easier to sell because all CSA’s products include a ten-day free trial period.
Sabre Travel Network, a Sabre Holdings company, provides access to a GDS, enabling more than 53,000 agencies worldwide to be travel experts. Sabre’s system includes more than 60,000 hotels, 400 airlines, 37 car rental companies and 220 tour operators.
