Sabre says it’s a first
Sabre Airline Solutions announced the launch of what it called an industry-first – an interline e-ticketing hub capability within SabreSonic Ticket that represents a single connection point to all Interline partners. The company said the system will “significantly reduce” development and distribution costs, and enhance an airline’s ability to be more customer-friendly. The interline e-ticketing hub offering is part of Sabre Airline Solutions’ recently announced new generation passenger management suite, SabreSonic. The company said Interline e-ticketing is becoming a necessity for airline carriers trying to reduce costly paper-filled process. The new e-ticketing hug capability eliminates the need for bi-lateral carrier links, the company said.
